{To our Dad}

We can't wait to see you tomorrow! Glad you've had a fun time on your wrestling trip!

More St. Patty's Day fun:
A Leprechaun snuck into our house this morning and made us a green breakfast for St. Patty's Day!

And I made these cute St. Patty's Day Rainbow treats for my preschoolers. I found the idea here. So cute and so easy!
Today we made these four leaf clovers with crumpled tissue paper.
Happy St.Patrick's Day everyone!

Snow day!

Today we woke up to this white stuff! In March no less! We had to take advantage of it because we knew it wouldn't last!

A little bit of everything...

The boys got these wrestling shirts from Grandpa Perry for Christmas. They LOVE wearing them! Between their Grandpa and their Dad, I'm pretty sure all of them will be wrestling! And speaking of wrestling, Brandon is heading to St. Louis on Wednesday for his annual "Man Trip" with my dad. This time my brother Ryan is going with them.
Brandon is so so so excited, but we will sure miss our Daddy here!
Whenever we have a break in the rain, we try to head outside to play. Porter needs a chance to ride his skateboard he got for Christmas,
And bike he got for his birthday.
We have to take advantage of any sunny weather we get here in Oregon!
Porter mastered the monkey bars when we were at the park last week. He has been wanting to be able to cross them for a long time, & it doesn't surprise me that he can do them now. After all, he is my little monkey!
When I peek in on Brody while he's still asleep, this is how I ALWAYS find him! Blanket covering his head!
Silly little guy!

And speaking of Brody, he got his first haircut!
Before:
During: (he was soooooo good for me!)
After: my handsome little toddler (not baby sniff, sniff)
And a little about this week. We have been the sick house. Actually, Hudson and Brody were the only ones that got sick, but it seemed like I was taking care of 10 sick kids! It has been a hard week! And to top it all off, Brody is teething so it made things 100 times worse! We missed church last week because of Hudson, and today because of Brody. Luckily both are FINALLY feeling better, even Brody with his teething! All I can say is thank goodness! I don't think I could go through another week like last week! Anyways, since we missed church two weeks in a row, I did a little Primary class at home. Porter and Hudson enjoyed learning about the Prophet and the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles and the importance of listening to them during Conference. Hopefully we will be at church next week!

Spring Fever!

We went to the North Clackamas Aquatic Center yesterday to play in some water. It was sooooo much fun. But now we have some major Spring, no, SUMMER Fever! I am so ready for toasty warm, sunny weather and all the fun that we are planning this Summer! I don't know if I can make it these next couple rainy, cold months.
Porter's fav was the wave pool. He and Daddy swam all the way to the other end of the pool. He thought that was super cool.
The waves were strong enough that they would knock Brody over and Hudson wouldn't even get in the wave pool.
The slide was Hudson's fav.
Splashing was Brody's fav.
And Porter enjoyed the slide, too!
And this pic pretty much sums up our time at the pool:)

Mud.

We planted in it.
Brody ate it.

Adventures in Babysitting

We have some awesome youth in our ward that babysit for us. We needed someone to watch our kids very last minute for Saturday night. We realized we might not be able to find someone so last minute, but Jordan & Jaycen said they could. Little did they know what they were getting themselves into!

That night we got home about 11pm. They got our kids to sleep on time and said they were really good. Yay! (I always worry when I leave my kids with sitters!) They leave, and Brandon and I go check on our sleeping little angels. When we are in Porter & Hudson's room, we here a car revving and tires spinning. Brandon looks out the window and this is what he sees:  (except it's dark, of course)
They had backed into the ditch! We realized that we wouldn't be able to do anything that night, so they called their mom to come and get them. They were leaving super early in the morning for Seaside, and we felt so bad that they drove into the ditch. Brandon said he would get their truck out while they were gone.

The next morning, we get a knock on our door, and it is a Gervais officer wondering what is going on. Brandon explained to him that our babysitter backed into the ditch last night and that we are taking care of it. The officer said he was going to put police tape up: now it looks like a crime scene!
Brandon said people were taking pics with their phones as they would drive by. I guess we were the entertainment for Gervais that day!

One of our friends was nice enough to bring his truck over and another one of our friends let us borrow his tow chain.
And surprisingly, the truck came out really easy!
So, if you want an Adventure in Babysitting, come babysit for us!

Police Station

We went on a field trip to the police station for preschool. Porter, Hudson, and all the kids loved it! The highlight of the trip was getting to sit on a police motorcycle.
